This litter was orphaned only eight hours after being born. The thought of hand raising a litter petrified me and I was right to be worried. It was a terribly emotional and nerve-wracking experience, but incredibly rewarding to pull all six pups through.

To have five harlequins out of six pups is very lucky indeed and I am very grateful for this good fortune.

I treasure these puppies so very much not only because of the strong bond I have with them but also because they are Hamba's babies.
