Jättiläisen Lappland V Saxony CGC A2/A2 ED00 (Reno)
A dream come true! My eternal thanks to Kati & Piia for the opportunity to own such an incredible dog. Thank you for your trust and kindness. It will never be forgotten.
Reno has been shown sparingly and has notched up some nice wins:
Reno has slotted in beautifully and is a wonderfully confident and attentive dog. The change in environment from Europe in winter to Africa in summer was considerable, but nobody told Reno! He took to everything with no problems and has amazed me with his adaptability and relaxed attitude. His conformation is incredibly promising. We are so happy to have this young man as part of the family. Reno is a very friendly chap and his obedience is exemplary. People often comment on his good manners and attentiveness. After each show I allow Reno to run off lead and his recall is amazing despite all the distractions. He often comes back to me so fast that I have to jump out of the way! And boy he is full of energy! We recently adopted a sheep and Reno tries very hard to get Sheep to play with him. Sheep has other ideas, hence the fence ;-)
Reno is at stud to approved bitches. However, we have been entrusted with incredibly valuable bloodlines in Reno and while we appreciate the fact that there is a small gene pool in SA, Reno will not be used extensively. Apart from the obligatory health tests (hips, elbows, hearts), studs which could lead to a genetic "painting into a corner" will be refused.
