Saxony High Lan Der B1/B1 ED00 (Mac) 03/10/07 - 31/8/14

• Sire : Jättiläisen Lappland V Saxony A2/A2 ED00 CGC • Dam: BIG Ch Saxony Editor In Chief HD00 ED00 CGC   Mac was a singleton pup and he bonded very closely to me and vice versa. I still find it hard to come to terms with my precious boy’s sudden passing. After a prolonged battle with prostrate issues in 2012, Mac was neutered and he really blossomed. He was looking incredible. He showed no signs of the massive tumour growing in his heart until it ruptured. I managed to get him into the car and once at the vet I waited with him while they gathered staff members to help carry him into the hospital. During this short wait, Mac lost consciousness and was not to wake up again. My only solace is that he had his beautiful head in my lap and my arms around his neck when this happened. I loved that boy beyond belief and I miss him more than words can express. He was always super energetic, but remarkably obedient and knew exactly when to goof around and when to be serious. Due to work constraints Mac only had a limited show career, but he fared very well indeed: • 3 FCI Best of Breed • 3 Challenge Certificates - Brian Blades (RSA), Michelle Colborne (RSA), Liz Wogan (Ireland) • 3 CACIB's - Keri Nichols (Australia), Hassi Assenmacher-Feyel (Germany), Roberto Velez-Pico (Puerto Rico) • 9 Res. Challenge Certificates (including SAGDA Ch show under breed specialist, Gary Hooker from the UK) • 6 Best Puppy Awards • 2 Puppy Group placings • 1 Best Junior In Group • Dane Puppy Of The Year 2009/10   Mac only ever sired one litter while alive - the Saxony I Litter. From this litter we kept Saxony In Short Supply (Shorty). Mac was collected from in 2009 with enough semen for two breedings. Our wonderful friends used one on of the breedings on their lovely girl Snoek in 2017 and were rewarded with a lovely litter of 8 pups. In 2025 we used the last breeding on Saxony Likeit Likethat (Billie) and we were thrilled to welcome a big litter of 9 in June 2025, of which we kept Saxony Murphy Mac Manus (Doc) and placed Saxony Ma Milkshake (Shakes) with family. Thank you Dr Pete Irons for your exceptional skill in the collection and preparation of the frozen semen back in 2009. And thank you Dr Nathalie Rouget for your skill and care with Billie.
